Home games in professional sports can swing the game’s tide in favor of the home team, and at times, teams can win games on the strength of home-field advantage.

To do that, though, requires fans to bring the energy.

“To get out there and just be around all the fans and in the stadium — out here,

it’s great — the fans that have been here [at training camp] have been amazing,

but there’s nothing like being in a football stadium,” coach Nathaniel Hackett said last week. “Football is back and you felt that there.”

Hackett understands, too, that if the fans can bring “juice” to Empower Field at Mile High, it can create an advantage.
